I graduated from New York Medical College and completed a pediatrics residency, cardiology fellowship, and advanced training in cardiac transplant and heart failure therapies at Babies Hospital, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University (now, New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital).
I have held leadership roles at several prominent health-care institutions in the U.S. I currently direct the heart transplant and heart failure programs at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore-Einstein in the Bronx, New York.
My medical publication credits include peer-reviewed journals such as Circulation, Journal of Pediatrics, Pediatric Transplantation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and others. I regularly review articles for these and other publications, and was a member of the editorial board for The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
I currently live in New York, and I’m still raising my twin sons who are now in college.
